Catherine (Kitty) Keller
Director of Communications & Outreach
Catherine "Kitty" Keller oversees the U.S. Chamber BCLC's communications portfolio, including editorial content, digital strategy, media relations, publications, and stakeholder relations. She is the creator of BCLCblog and editor of both the blog and BCLC's e-news digest. Kitty is interested in strategic partnerships with CSR-related organizations, with the aim to share corporate citizenship successes and raise awareness of the positive impact businesses can make in society.
Her job is "make good news happen every day," and Kitty welcomes stories, data, and images about proven or unique corporate citizenship strategies that benefit humanity, whether large-scale or community-centric. Contact her on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or by email.
Before joining the Chamber Kitty managed marketing and editorial services at D.C.-based public affairs firm Dittus Communications (later acquired by the global agency FD), where she worked across all practice areas to support business development and campaign execution, and to ensure top-quality client deliverables. She also served on the communications staff of the Greater Washington Initiative, the regional marketing and economic development arm of the Greater Washington Board of Trade.
Kitty earned a M.A. in Public Communication from American University in Washington, D.C., and a B.S. in Interpersonal Communication with an emphasis on organizational communication from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. In her current town of Memphis, Tennessee, Kitty sits on the founding steering committee of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis's GiVE 365 initiative, and also volunteers with the Memphis Farmers Market on the marketing committee and on market days. She loves dogs, cats, fitness bootcamp, farm to fork eating, and Malbec.
